It's Friday, Friday!

Weeee! Friday! (Or as I like to call it, Thursday because my weekend doesn't begin until tomorrow at 5pm.) I hope you all made it through the week unscathed. I wanted to take some time during my lunch break to drop you all a line.

I thought I'd do things a little differently around here this week. I'm going to share some links that have recently inspired me but I'm also going to throw in some random happenings that brightened up my week. So, without further ado...

Remember my friend Dani? Well, she started radiation this week and when Katie asked me if I could think of anyone to nominate for a Love Bomb, Dani came right to mind. (You can read the Love Bomb letter here.) Head on over to Dani's blog and leave her a little bit of love. It means the world to her. Promise!

Speaking of Katie, when I met her three years ago (!!), she didn't even have a high school diploma. Now she's got that and aspirations for a college degree. You go girl!

I picked up Mockingjay again. And that book makes me so mad! Maybe because I know how it ends (hint: not like I want it to!) but I'm having a love/hate relationship with it. PS: Gale is so dreamy. #teamgale

It's been pretty rainy here this week so I have half-a-mind to make this Minestrone Soup this weekend. Yum!

There's an essay contest going on at Stratejoy, and here's my favorite entry so far.

I had dinner on Wednesday night at church with Nana, Poppie, and Dad. Now, I have the sweetest grandparents ever, nojoke. Aside from being my biggest fans and supporters, they are so giving and kind to everyone, not just me. At dinner, Poppie told me that I had really gotten the hang of my makeup and that I looked so beautiful. (Thank you YouTube and Ulta!) As if that wasn't enough, I got a text on Thursday from Nana that said, "Poppie can't quit talking about how beautiful you were last night! And you were! Just thought you should know." See? SWEETEST.

Note to self: Organize spices.

Another friend who is doing awesome things? Emily at Merrypad. Her home was recently featured on Apartment Therapy and I swear I'm going to make a trip to Rochester just to hang out in her gorgeous abode.

I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day but coming home to a dozen long stemmed roses from J was definitely a surprise. That boy is so swoony.

I'm not the tattoo type but still love checking out Danielle's Tattoo Tuesday feature. This guy? Has a Team Jacob tattoo. Awesome.

I love 90s teen flicks. Turns out, I'm not the only one.

I would like to personally thank Becka for posting a picture of (ADORABLE) Cadence once a day to help ease my Baby Fever. This photo? DEAD.
